So today I received my new socks that I ordered online last week. At Melbourne Mudder a few weeks ago, I was left with a giant blister underneath my left big toe. And when I say giant, I meant HUGE, as in underneath the entire toe. So I've been on a hunt to find a pair of socks I could wear for the rest of the #TMTour2014, and stumbled upon these bad boys. Injinji Performance Socks. A steal for under 20 bucks, delivered. Apparently these socks "properly align and splay the toes which prevent blisters". Perfect!
Soon as I unwrapped these bad boys this afternoon, I chucked them on, and went for a quick 6km run in the belting down rain. I thought running in the rain, and jumping in every single puddle I could find would mimic a Tough Mudder fairly well.
By the end of the run, I was completely soaked, and my shoes muddy and wet as anything. But the socks worked a treat. Very pleased with my purchase.
